Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Kumar Lallu got bail from the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court.
Abdullah Azam was adjudge guilty of producing fake documents about his age during the 2017 assembly elections and was underage at the time of elections.
Along with Justice Shukla of the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court, the agency has also named IM Quddusi, a retired judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Bhagwan Prasad Yadav and Palash Yadav of the Prasad Education Trust, the trust and private persons Bhavna Pandey and Sudhir Giri in the case, they said.
"The news of the high court staying the forcible declaration of 17 OBCs as Scheduled Castes in Uttar Pradesh is naturally in limelight today. Such decisions guided by total selfish political motives do not affect any party/government but the entire society gets affected by it. Most unfortunate," Mayawati tweeted in Hindi.
"Art invites us to explore the crevices of our mind, instigating self reflection on how we as individuals can make our society a better and kinder place," he added.
A bench comprising justices Sudhir Agarwal and Rajendra Kumar also asked the EC that how the makers of the film will be compensated for losses due to delay in the release of the movie.
