Wimbledon: Paes-Hingis enter into mixed doubles third round

London: Indo-Swiss pair Leander Paes-Martina Hingis has registered their place in the third round of the Wimbledon 2016 after defeating Artim Sitak-Laura Siegemund in the second round of the mixed doubles at Wimbledon 2016.

They surpassed New Zealand-German pair by 6-4, 6-4 in a one hour and 16 minute’s long match at the All England Club.

The pair is in tremendous form as have won French Open mixed doubles title last month. They are also the defending champions at the US Open.

In third encounter, Paes-Hingis will face Bruno Soares and Elena Vesnina, which will be a crucial game for both the pairs.

Indian athletes in the form of Sania Mirza, Leander Paes are making the nation proud in the ongoing Wimbledon championships.
