Wimbledon 2016: Sania-Hingis pair qualifies for third round

London: After posting a 6-3, 6-1 wins in the second round clash against Japanese pair of Eri Hozumia and Miyu Kato, Indo-Swiss duo Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis have qualified for the third round at the Wilbledon championships on Monday.

The game, which was played at the Court No. 2, was wrapped up in 52 minutes.

Sania-Hingis will play the American-Latvian duo Christina McHale-Jelena Ostapenkoin in the third round of the tournament.

Christina-Jelena have defeated Alla Kudryavtseva and Vania King by 6-1, 6-4 in their second round encounter.
