Dhaka: The West Indies cricket team on Sunday won the maiden under-19 world cup by defeating India with 5 wickets. Indian team scored 145 runs in 45.1 overs. The target was easily chased by the West Indies.

  • Sarfaraz Khan played the highest innings of 51 runs for India.
  • John and Joseph picket 3 wickets each for West Indies.
  • Indian batsman Anmolpreet Sing could score only three runs.
