West Indies all rounder- Dwayne Bravo spoke over the issue of racism throughout the world. Says, we only want respect and equality.

New Delhi: Talks over racism have been fueling a lot these days in every corner of the world. Recently, Darren Sammy made a startling revelation ,when he alleged racism on Indian Premier League. Adding to the same issue, Dwayne Bravo has opened up about racism in his latest chat with former Zimbabwe pacer Pommie Mbanga.

Mbanga was in chat with Bravo on Instagram live where latter put forward his views regarding racism in the world. "We just want equality, we don't want revenge or war, we just want respect," he said. Racism issue heated up in the cricket world after Sammy talked about his sour experience while playing with Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL.

What all Bravo said-

"It is sad to see what is going on around the world. As a black man, we know the history of what black people have been through. We never ask for revenge, we ask for equality and respect. That is it. We give respect to others. Why is it that we are facing this over and over."

"I just want our brothers and sisters to know that we are powerful and beautiful. And at the end of the day, you look at some of the greats of the world, whether it is Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan we have had leaders who paved the way for us"

West Indies ace hitter, Chris Gayle has also come forward in support of all his teammates. He says, it's never too late too fight up for the real cause.

The matter of Racism became vocal after Africa-American, George Floyd was brutally murdered by a police personnel on the streets of Minneapolis,US. Main accused and other 3 people involved have been booked under several charges.
