New Delhi: Indian players performed brilliantly in Tokyo Olympics 2020. India's promising players returned home on Monday, performing their best ever. Indian players including gold medalist Neeraj Chopra have returned home.

The players were given a warm welcome at the Delhi airport. Workers of sports authorities, federations and political parties had reached the airport to welcome the players who had joined the Olympics.

Athletes return to India:

This time India won seven medals in the Olympics. Earlier, India had won 6 medals in the London Olympics. This time it was India's best performance till date. Athlete Neeraj Chopra has won gold medal in javelin throw. SAI (Sports Authority of India) has given information about the return of the players of India and released a video of the airport.

Grand welcome of players:

SAI released the video and wrote, "Welcome home champions. Athletics team is back from Tokyo 2020. Let's welcome them with joy and excitement."

Mirabai Chanu won the first medal in weightlifting from India. Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal in Men's Javelin Throw. Mirabai and Ravikumar Dahiya won silver medals while PV Sindhu, boxer Lovlina, wrestler Bajrang Punia and men's hockey team won bronze medals.
