Vivo IPL Live Streaming: KXIP vs RPS Match Preview

Visakhapatnam: It would not be the clash for survival instead the game between Kings XI Punjab and Rising Pune Supergiants should be marked as their struggle for pride as both the teams are out of Vivo IPL’s race. Dhoni’s RPS will take on Murli Vijay’s KXIP in their final match of league stage at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy cricket stadium here on Saturday.

Skipper MS Dhoni’s bad form is the major concern for Pune as he has failed to perform during the complete series. With slew of injuries is another dampening factor for Pune as Kevin Pietersen, Faf du Plesis, Mitchell March and Steven Smith were ruled out of the series. The bowling department remained another concern for Pune as they failed to get the right combinations throughout the series. Adam Zampa and Ashok Dinda tighten the bowling line up but it all came too late as Rising Pune Supergiants won just 4 off the 13 matches they played so far.

Kings XI Punjab started the tournament with big defeats, though they recovered well late under the captaincy of Murli Vijay but it was too late to come out of the deep slumber. One of the key players, David Miller’s poor form also demoted the team’s morale from the early stage of the game.

All in all, it would be interesting to see who finishes the final race today on a winning note.
