UP rowing team announced for National Rowing Championship

Lucknow: A seven-member Uttar Pradesh rowing team will participate in the Open National Rowing championship to be held at Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad from January 26 to 30.

Making the announcement of the team,UP Rowing Association Secretary H C Sharma said on Friday that the team would leave for Hyderabad on January 24.

The team comprised of Rohit Kashyap, Shailenda Kumar, Nishant Jaiswal, ShivPujan Awasthi, Kapil Kumar Singh, Visha Singh and Arvind Rana, he said. Pushkar Singh will accompany the team as coach while Digvijay Trivedi will be the manager.
