Hyderabad: The new wall of Indian Cricket, Cheteshwar Pujara feels that if India wants to retain the top spot in Tests, it has to continue its brilliance in Test Cricket with same consistency.

“Indian team has played a lot of inspiring Cricket in 2016 and it needs to continue the same in 2017,” said Pujara.

As India will play Bangladesh in the one-off Test match, the right handed batsman feels that it would be an interesting dual as the visiting side has played good cricket in the recent past. "Mushfiqur Rahim, led side has played some tremendous Cricket against England. India will not take Bangladesh lightly," the Saurashtra batsman added.

The year 2016 went lucky for Men in White as they whitewashed big teams like New Zealand and England, making everybody around the globe sing high praise for India.

The only Test between India and Bangladesh will commence here on February 9.
