Tennis pair Paes, Boppana upset India in first round at Rio

Rio de Janeiro: Indian men’s Tennis doubles duos Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna faced a defeat in their opening game of the Rio Olympics 2016 by 4-6 and 6-7 against Poland Tennis pair Marcin Matkowski and Lukasz Kubot at the Olympic Tennis Centre in Rio de Janeiro of Brazil.

With this loss, India made an exit from men’s doubles.

In front of boisterous Polish duos, Paes and Bopanna failed to execute things in right slot, leaving them losing a crucial match.

Bopanna, however, has a chance to bag a gold medal by playing some extraordinary Tennis in the mixed doubles.

Sania Mirza will partner Tennis star in the mixed doubles.
