Lucknow: If you are a Cricket lover, you can never forget the historic moment when Yuvraj Singh had smashed a record-setting six sixes in an over in a T20I match against England. But do you remember that today, September 19, 2017, is the tenth anniversary of the sheer onslaught by the flamboyant Indian opener off the bowling of a remarkable England bowler, Stuart Broad?

Yes, it was in the 19th over of the first inning of 2007 ICC World Twenty20 International Group E match between India and England, played on September 19, 2007, when Yuvraj turned on his destructive mode after some provocation by England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff.

The bitter outcome of the provocation was faced by Stuart Broad who seemed to be almost clueless in front of the Indian batsman, who sent him out of the park at Kingsmead Durban on all six occasions.

Yuvraj Singh had played a sensational knock of 58 runs off only 16 deliveries and had laced his knock with 3 fours and 7 sixes. It was his onslaught which helped India post a mammoth total of 218 runs on the board in the first inning.

He had also completed his half-century off just 12 balls which still is a record in any format of the sport at the international level.

Earlier in the match, openers Gautam Gambhir (58 off 41, 7 fours, 1 six) and Virender Shewag (68 off 52, 4 fours, 3 sixes) had given a great start adding 136 runs in 14.4 overs before the latter departed.

Later, Indian bowlers managed to restrict England to 200 runs in the final 20 overs in a cliffhanger encounter. It is worth mentioning that it was the inaugural edition of the massively successful World T20I, which a young Indian side went on to win under the leadership of MS Dhoni.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday shared the clip of Yuvraj's six sixes on its official Twitter handle.
