Mumbai: Calling Ravichandran Ashwin as the major weapon in the upcoming West Indies tour, Indian former skipper Sourav Ganguly on Saturday wished luck to the Indian Cricket team’s Tests skipper Virat Kohli and head coach Anil Kumble.

“I think Ashwin will be the key in West Indies,” said Ganguly.

He also praised Caribbean’s by terming their side as a vehement one.

Ganguly said-

  • West Indies is looking stronger and in the middle of a fine form.
  • But I think India have the side to beat them.
  • I wish luck to Kohli and Kumble.

The year 2016 has remained spectacular for West Indies as they have won the World T20 title and also impressed in the triangular ODI series (Australia-South Africa-West Indies) by finishing runner-ups in the league.

Virat Kohli led Indian brigade will take on West Indies in the first test match on July 21.
