Moscow: Russian Tennis Federation head Shamil Tarpishchev said that Maria Sharapova’s failure in the doping test could end her career.

Former Tennis player stated to a leading Russian news agency that Sharapova’s condition is bad and informs that Sharapova resuming her career is doubtful.

Previously it was Shamil, who predicted will make a return to competition and will be seen leading Russian team at the Olympics. His sudden changed view regarding Sharapova is still unknown.

In January, Sharapova tested positive for meldonium at the Australian Open.

Interestingly, Sharapova admitted that she was not aware that the drug she had taken was banned for 2016.
