Shai Hope's twin-ton gives Windies historic win over England
Leeds: In the lines of Shai Hope's tremendous display of batting, West Indies on Wednesday registered an emphatic five-wicket win over England in the second Test. This is after 17 years that Windies emerged victorious in England.
Hope saved his name in the record book as the first batsman to score hundreds in both innings of a first-class match at Headingley
West Indies was given a 322-run target in its second inning which was chased down by the side with five wickets in hand.
Hope's first and second inning score read 147 and 118 not out respectively.
It was a praise worthy comeback by Caribbean as WI lost the first Test by an innings and 209 runs inside three days.
The series concludes with the third Test at Lord's starting on September 7.
