Saina Nehwal reaches pre-quarters of Macau Open, beats Hanna

Macau: Indian ace shuttler Saina Nehwal has entered the second round of Macau Open Grand Prix Gold badminton tournament beating Hanna Ramadini of Indonesia in a hard fought game.

The one hour three minute game ended with Saina winning over Hanna by 21-23, 21-14, 21-18 on Wednesday. Saina will take on Dinar Dyah Ayustine in the next round.

Earlier, Nehwal had lost in the opening round of China Open.

Excluding Saina’s success, P Kashyap and B Sai Praneeth and men’s doubles pair of Manu Attri and B Summeth Reddy reached pre-quarterfinals for India.
