Saina Nehwal faces defeat in quarters, crashes out of Macau Open

Macau: Indian star shuttler Saina Nehwal on Friday crashed out of the Macau Open after facing a defeat to China’s Zhang Yiman in the quarter-finals here.

Saina was defeated 12-21, 17-21 to Zhang in a 35-minute encounter.

Saina had beaten Dinar Dyah Ayustine of Indonesia in the second round of the contest on Thursday. Earlier, Saina had lost in the opening game of China Open and faced a defeat in the quarter-finals of Hong Kong Open.
