London: Scottish Tennis player Andy Murray has qualified for the finals of the Wimbledon Championships 2016 on Friday after beating Tomas Berdych in the semi-finals.

Murray defeated Tomas by 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 and registered his name in the finals for the third time.

Now, Andy Murray will take on the first-time finalist Milos Raonic, who has outshined Roger Federer by 6-3, 6-7 (3/7), 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 in the semi-finals.

After winning a crucial semi-final game, Andy Murray said-

  • Obviously to make a Wimbledon final is a good achievement and I've got one more to go on Sunday.
  • The older you get, you never know how many chances you're going to get to play in a Grand Slam final. I'm glad I managed to get through.
  • You learn from those matches for sure, those experiences in the past have helped me a lot, playing against some of the best players of all time.

The Wimbledon finals will be played on Sunday at the All England Club.
