Rio 2016: Indian women Hockey team plays draw with Japan

Rio de Janiro: Indian women Hockey team on Sunday played 2-2 draw against Japan in the Rio Olympics 2016 at the Olympic Hockey Centre in Rio de Janeiro of Brazil.

Dominating Japan brushes Indian team aside after opening scoring in the 15th and 28th minute of the game. Nishikhori Emi and Mie Nakashima hit the goals for Japan.

Bouncing back into the game, India also replied with two goals by Rani Rampal and Lilima Minz in the 31st and 40th minute of the match respectively.

It was the first Olympic contest for the Indian women Hockey team.
