Paris: Rafael Nadal, who has won the French Open for the nine times, has pulled himself out of the ongoing French Open due to left wrist injury.

On Thursday, he touched another milestone as become the eighth player in the history of Tennis to record 200 Grand Slam wins.

Even in his second round win against Facundo Bagnis 6-3, 6-0, 6-3, he played with an injection.

Nadal said-

  • I have a problem with my wrist.
  • I played with an injection on Thursday.
  • I would have played but I started to feel more and more pain on Thursday.
  • On Friday, I felt I could not move my wrist.

Previously, in French Open 2015 Nadal lost to Novak Djokovic in the quarter finals.

Spanish Tennis player, however, hopes for a comeback at Wimbledon, which is scheduled to occur next month.
