Lyon (France): After reaching the final of Euro Cup-2016, Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo said,’it was a team effort that cruised them to the final’.

Portugal on Wednesday beat Wales by 2-0 in the semi-finals.

“I am not at all obsesses with the records. It was a team work that we reached into the finals of Euro-2016. National team is everything to me,” Ronaldo told media persons after the match.

Ronalda has equalled Frenchman Michel Platini’s record of nine goals in the European championship.

"Nobody thought Portugal could get to the final and but we are there, that makes me proud and happy."

The 31-year-old three-time world player of the year has been criticised for hogging free kicks and penalties and for remonstrating with team mates when their passes fail to reach him.
