Mumbai: Manish Pandey is back with a bang. The rapid fire 47-ball 81-run knock of Manish Pandey powered Kolkata Knight Riders to set a big total of 178 runs against Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League match at Wankhede stadium here on Sunday.

Manish Pandey was at his best and single-handedly took his team to a huge total. His 81-run inning was studded with five fours and same sixes.

After being invited to bat first, KKR got off to a fine start as openers Gautam Gambhir and Chris Lynn shared 44-run stand for the first wicket. Captain was the first to depart at 19 and was followed by Robin Uthappa (4).

Explosive batsman Chris Lynn was silenced by Jasprit Bumrah. He played 24-ball 34-run knock with three fours and a biggie.

For Mumbai Indians, spinner Krunal Pandya was the leading wicket-taker with bowling figures of 3/24. The comeback man Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell McClenaghan bagged two, one and one wicket respectively.
