Another marriage proposal at Rio Olympics steals the medal ceremony

Rio de Janeiro: Love is in the air, will be a perfect quote to describe the romantic affairs of athletes taking their relationship to a next level at the ongoing Rio Olympics.

It was on Monday night, when China’s Qin Kai proposed his team-mate He Zi with a beautiful diamond studded ring during the medal ceremony on Women’s 3m springboard event.

Qin Kai, on his knees proposed He Zi with the diamond studded ring. The proposal was promptly accepted by He Zi.

“I never imagined that he will propose me here. I did not expect to marry myself so early,” said He Zi. Adding, ‘Kai was ready to be bullied for lifetime by me’.

Earlier in the first week, Brazilian rugby player Isadora Cerullo accepted a marriage proposal from her girlfriend at the medals ceremony of the inaugural Olympic rugby sevens competition.
