Maria Sharapova should be banned, says Andy Murray

New Delhi: Lashing out a former world number 1 World Andy Murray said that Russian star Maria Sharapova should be suspended for the drug test failure.

“You should be suspended for the fail in drug test if you have taken performance enhancing durgs,” Murray said on Thursday.

It may be mentioned that Sharapavoa, who is to face a four-year ban, in a press conference said that she was taking the drug since 10 years and it was given to her first by a family doctor when she fell ill.

The highest paid tennis star has also lost support from major brands like Nike, Tag Heuer and Porsche.
