Manchester: India played some fantastic Cricket at Old Trafford here on Tuesday to defeat England by 8-wickets and show all the Cricket pundits that the Virat Kohli-led team is not going to end up as minnows in the English summer.

Even after England got off to a good start, Indian bowlers restricted them to 159/8 in 20 overs, thanks to Kuldeep Yadav (5/24), and then Lokesh Rahul smashed a scintillating hundred to propel India to a convincing 8-wicket win in first of the three-T20I series.

England has been in amazing form over the past few months, but an over by Kuldeep Yadav, which dismissed three of their batsmen, seemed to have brought them off track right at the beginning of the challenging bilateral series against India.
