Raipur: Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner’s 73-run knock went in vain as Delhi Daredevils defeat SRH by 6 wickets under Karun Nair’s match winning innings of unbeaten 83 runs in IPL 2016 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium here on Friday.

With this awe-inspiring win DD kept themselves alive in the race of play-offs.

Chasing 159, Delhi lost its explosive batsman Quinton de Kock (2) early while Rishabh Pant showed some heroics before departing at a score of 32 runs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler Barinder Sran bagged two wickets while Mustafizur Rahman managed to take one wicket.

Previously, Warner yet again played a ‘one man army’ and scored 73 runs in just 56 balls with 8 boundaries and a single six.

DD bowling attack did a pretty well job in stopping other SRH batsmen to fire and restricted them at a total of 158 runs.

Brief score-

Sunrisers Hyderabad- 158/7 in 20 overs (Warner 73; Carlos Brathwaite 2/27)

Delhi Daredevils- 161/4 in 20 overs (Karun Nair 83*, Rishabh Pant 32; Sran 34/2)
