New Delhi: Applauding Indian young talent Karun Nair, former Sri Lanka player Sanath Jayasuriya on Tuesday said that former has created sensation hitting triple century and has a bright future ahead.

“It was his audacious performance in domestic Cricket which he continued in International games even against the strong team like England,” said Jayasuriya.

Karun Nair dug into the England attack, smashing it to all parts of the ground in his unbeaten record 303-run knock. Jayasuriya said reaching such a milestone in the very start of the career is never an easy task.

“One has to have tremendous patience to reach such a milestone,” said Jayasuriya.

He also praised Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli who was given the man of the series in the IndvsEng five-match contest. Virat scored 655 runs in the series at an average of 109.16. “Virat is a good captain and he himself is delivering well for the side,” said the former left-handed batsman.
