Jitu Rai wins silver in ISSF World Cup ahead of Rio Olympics

Pune: Indian Pistol king Jitu Rai on Saturday bagged the silver medal at the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup after defeating Jongoh Jin of Korea.

With his winning shot 199.5 in the final game of men’s 10m air pistol, he bagged sixth World Cup medal.

The tremendous win must have boosted Rai ahead of Rio Olympics.

In women’s 25m pistol, Heena Sindhu qualified for the finals after finishing the game at 5th spot.
