Is RCB completely relying on ‘Superman-Batman’?

Bengaluru: With Virat Kohli-AB de Villiers scoring most of the runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2016, the team has certainly created a habit of relying on Chris Gayle termed ‘Superman-Batman’ duo.

Virat and de Villiers have scored 59.38% of the total runs scored by RCB in the celebrated tournament of the Indian Premiere League.

The team, however, excluding Virat-de Villiers, other RCB batsmen have scored just 33.71% of their team’s total runs.

Kohli and ABD have scored 752 runs and 597 runs respectively and somewhere and somehow have played the key role in taking Bangalore to the fifth spot in the points table.

In terms of sixes too, duos are at the top with AB de Villiers and Virat leading with 32 and 28 sixes respectively.

In the race of orange cap, both have outshined other batsmen with Virat leading at the top and de Villiers being placed right next to him.

Virat is also placed at the top with most number of fours in IPL 2016, while de Villiers has managed to occupy number 3 spot.
