Lucknow: Indian Premier League (IPL) completed a decade in the business in 2017, but still there are a few huge cricketing names who are yet to taste victory in the final of the razzmatazz tournament and lift the adorned trophy.

The popularity of the cash-rich cricketing extravaganza has only peaked over the years and one thing that should be credited the most for the same is the kind of Cricket the sportsmen like AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and many others have exhibited in India.

Some may call it rude to include the name of the 'Indian run machine' in the list of such players but the irony is that he has been playing for the same side, Royal Challengers Bangalore, ever since his IPL debut and it has never managed to win the trophy.

He, however, made his best effort by smashing 4 hundreds and 7 half-centuries in the previous edition, but his team fell 8 runs short of the 209-run target set by Sunrisers Hyderabad and he remained away from the coveted trophy.

Well, the ongoing season is a huge chance for these players to break the jinx and register their first ever IPL victory. Let’s hope for the best for these players too!
