IPL 10 RPS vs GL: Pune wins toss; Tye-less Gujarat to bat

Pune: With hopes of qualifying for the playoffs in the Indian Premier League season 10, Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) won the toss and invited Gujarat Lions (GL) to bat first at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium on Monday.

Informing about the changes in GL playing XI, skipper Suresh Raina said that Pradeep Sangwan has been given a chance in place of Irfan Pathan while Dwayne Smith has been recalled in place of injured Andrew Tye.

RPS captain Steve Smith told that Ben Stokes has regained fitness and will be playing today while Shradul Thakur will replace Deepak Chahar.

Rising Pune Supergiant:

Ajinkya Rahane, Rahul Tripathi, Steven Smith (c), Manoj Tiwary, MS Dhoni (wk), Ben Stokes, Daniel Christian, Washington Sundar, Jaydev Unadkat, Shardul Thakur and Imran Tahir

Gujarat Lions:

Ishan Kishan, Brendon McCullum, Suresh Raina (c), Aaron Finch, Dwayne Smith, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, James Faulkner, Ankit Soni, Pradeep Sangwan and Basil Thampi
