New Delhi: Indian Premiere League- 10 (IPL 10) is set to kick-start from April 5. The opening ceremony will be held in the home of defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The IPL opener will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad between Sunrisers Hyderabad and last year’s runner-up Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Total 60 matches will be played in the cash-rich league which will continue for 47 days.

The contest, however, turned ‘Injured Premiere League' for a few players including R Ashwin (RPS), Mitchell Marsh (RPS), Mitchell Starc (RCB), KL Rahul (RCB), Murali Vijay (KXIP), Quinton de Kock (DD), Ravindra Jadeja (GL) and Umesh Yadav (KKR), some of whom are likely to miss the entire season.

Delhi Daredevils skipper JP Duminy has withdrawn from the league, citing personal reasons while RCB skipper Virat Kohli will miss the first week of the IPL owing to his shoulder injury.
