IPL Auction: Stokes costliest, Mills surprises; check complete list
Bengaluru: It was England all-rounder Ben Stokes who stole the show when Indian Premiere League 2017 bidding came to an end. Stokes was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants for whopping Rs 14.50 crore while Royal Challengers Bangalore picked Englishman Tymal Mills as the second most expensive player at Rs 12 crore.
Surprisingly, Railways player Karn Sharma and Tamil Nadu player T. Natrajan were the only Indian players who figured in the top list. They were bought at rather moderate prices of Rs 3.2 crore and Rs 3 crore by Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab. There were two surprise picks in the form of Afghanistan players, Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi who were sold for Rs 4 crore and Rs 30 lakh respectively.
