Pune: Winning the toss, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) invited Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) to bat first in Indian Premier League (IPL 2018) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium here on Sunday.

KXIP skipper R Ashwin has dropped Yuvraj Singh and Marcus Stoinis to include Karun Nair and David Miller in the playing XI.

CSK captain MS Dhoni has dropped Shane Watson to play Faf du Plessis in the squad.

As Mumbai Indians (MI) has lost their last match against Delhi Daredevils (DD), KXIP needs to defeat CSK by at least 53 runs to qualify for the playoffs.
