IPL 2016: Sunrisers outclasses Kings XI Punjab by 7 wickets

Mohali: Sunrisers Hyderabad explosive batsmen Yuvraj Singh and Ben Cutting paid no heed towards Kings XI Punjab bowlers and scripted seven wickets win over the hosts at the Punjab Cricket Association stadium in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 here on Sunday evening.

It was their fiery batting that took the team to chase the given target, after Warner (52), Shikhar Dhawan (25) and Deepak Hooda’s (34) departure.

Earlier, David Warner led SRH bowlers in the form of Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2/32), Ashish Nehra (0/35), Mustafizur Rahman (1/32) and Moises Henriques (1/29) failed to shine.

KXIP opener Hashim Amla was top-scorer for his team with a tremendous knock of 96 runs off just 56 balls. His innings was flavoured with 14 fours and two sixes.
