IPL 2016, RPSvsDD: Match Prediction

Visakhapatnam: After getting outclassed against Mumbai Indians in their previous game, Zaheer Khan led Delhi Daredevils will try to roar over bottom placed Rising Pune Supergiants in IPL 2016 at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, here on Tuesday.

On the cards, they are placed at fifth spot in the points table but DD have to be consistent if they want to secure their place in the play-offs with three league matches remaining including today's match.

While, MS Dhoni led RPS will play for pride as they were already knocked out of the tournament.

Delhi Daredevils-

• The batting will revolve around Rishabh Pant, Quinton de Kock, keeper-batsman Sanju Samson and Karun Nair.
• All-rounders Chris Morris and Carlos Brathwaite may provide some fireworks in the death overs.
• In bowling department, skipper Zak has impressed by taking nine wickets in the contest so far.
• Shami Ahmad, Morris, Brathwaite, Amit Mishra and Imran Tahir will leave no stone unturned to demoralise RPS batsmen.

Rising Pune Supergiants-

• They lost big names due to injury which made their presence lacklustre in the cash-rich league.
• Eyes will be on the dependable Ajinkya Rahane, who played some spectacular innings in the celebrated tournament.
• Other batsmen in the form of Usman Khawaja, George Bailey, Saurabh Tiwary, MS Dhoni and Thisara Perera have been inconsistent in their contributions.
• R. Ashwin, M.Ashwin, Adam Zampa, Ashok Dinda and Irfan Pathan will focus on breaking partnerships between DD batsmen.
