IPL 10 SRH vs DD: Williamson-Dhawan power Hyderabad to 191/4

Hyderabad: Playing the first match in the tenth season of Indian Premier League (IPL), Kane Williamson played a tremendous 89-run inning to lead Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to a handsome score of 191/4 against Delhi Daredevils (DD) at the Rajiv Gandhi International ground here on Wednesday.

The New Zealand captain smashed 89 runs off 51 balls hitting 6 fours and 5 flourishing sixes, while Shikhar Dhawan also completed his first fifty in nine IPL innings. He went on to score 70 runs off 50 balls with the help of 7 fours and a six. The duo added crucial 136 runs for the second wicket in just 86 balls, after SRH lost captain David Warner (4 off 7) departed early in the inning.

After getting the wicket of Warner in the second over of the inning, DD bowlers had to wait for 14 overs to get their second success in form of Williamson who was on a rampage mode today.

Yuvraj Singh once again failed to impress as he could only manage 3 runs off 4 balls, and became the victim of Chris Morris, who completed his four-over spell at 4/26.
