IPL 10: Rising Pune Supergiant wins toss; Delhi Daredevils to bat

Pune: On their home ground Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) won the toss and invited Delhi Daredevils (DD) to bat first in their Indian Premier League (IPL) season 10 encounter at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium here on Tuesday.

In a major jolt to RPS, right ahead of the toss, Steven Smith was ruled out of the match because of a bad stomach. In his absence, Ajinkya Rahane has been given the charge of the side.

In a saddening news, Manoj Tiwary will also miss the match because his father died on Tuesday morning.

Delhi has recalled Corey Anderson for Carlos Braithwaite, while RPS inducted Faf du Plessis and Adam Zampa in the squad for Smith and Daniel Christian.

Here are the two squads:

Delhi Daredevils:

Aditya Tare, Sam Billings, Karun Nair, Rishabh Pant (wk), Sanju Samson, Corey Anderson, Chris Morris, Pat Cummins, Amit Mishra, Zaheer Khan (c) and Shahbaz Nadeem

Rising Pune Supergiant:

Ajinkya Rahane (c), Faf du Plessis, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Ben Stokes, MS Dhoni (wk), Rajat Bhatia, Deepak Chahar, Adam Zampa, Imran Tahir and A Dinda.
