Kolkata: The terrific four-over spell of Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar restricted Kolkata Knight Riders to a score of 172/6 in 20 overs in the Indian Premiere League match at Eden Gardens here on Saturday.

KKR batsman Robin Uthappa played an audacious knock of 39-ball 68-run with five fours and four biggies. Together with Manish Panedy (46), he shared 77-run partnership.

After being invited to bat, Sunil Narine failed to live up his last match heroics as was bowled out by Bhuvi at 6. Gautam Gambhir also was back to the dug-out after scoring 15 runs leaving KKR to struggle at 40/2. Yusuf Pathan remained unbeaten at 21.

For SRH, Bhuvneshwar impressed with bowling figures of 3/20. Ashish Nehra, Ben Cutting and Rashid Khan bagged one wicket each.

Kolkata Knight Riders need 173 runs to win this game.
