Indore: India lost both its openers in the third and final cricket test match against visiting New Zealand at Holkar stadium here scoring 75 for two at lunch on the first day.

Winning the toss, eight in a row at home, India elected to bat. Gautam Gambhir making his comeback in Indian side after two years started in a whirlwind manner hitting two sixes and three fours before getting out to Boult on individual score of 29. Earlier, Jeetan patel consumed other opener Muarali Vijay on 10.

In form batsman Cheteshwar Pujara (29 ) and Skipper Virat Kohli (7) were at the crease when teams went in for lunch.

India made two changes in the team which played last test match at Eden Gardens bringing in Gambhir and Umesh Yadav in place of injured Shikhar Dhawan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. New Zealand captain Ken Willianson is also back in the team along with Neesham in place of Nicholl and Wagner.

Incidentally, Indore is making history as this being the first ever test match at Holkar stadium.
