India's worst batting display in past two years, admits Kohli

Pune: Not even Indian Cricket fans, but also the skipper of the side is disappointed as the team's batting was exposed to Australian spin attack in the first Test at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium here on Saturday.

Virat Kohli, at the post-match presentation, admitted, "This is our worst batting display in the last two years'.

Taking the loss on the chin, run-machine Kohli said this Test was a big learning for him. He found batting guiltier than bowling for the crushing defeat.

"Australia executed the things well, which helped it to dominate. It was a well deserving win for Aussies,” said Virat.

India will play Australia in the second Test of the four-match series, beginning from March 4 at M.Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru.
