Indian bowling attack is far better than England: Parthiv Patel

Mumbai: The same Wankhede wicket on which both Ashwin and Jadeja picked all England wickets is turning villainous for English bowlers. Indian wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel has come with a reason for the same calling India’s bowling attack better than England.

What Parthiv Patel said?

· More than the surface, I think the quality of our bowling is far better.

· Our bowlers get definitely more revolutions on the ball than what their spinners are doing.

· We have deceived a lot of players in the air rather than just waiting for the help from the wicket.

· I think there is definitely a lot of difference in the quality.

India gave a befitting reply to England’s big total of 400 runs in the first innings of the Mumbai Test, as Murli Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara batted nicely and took India’s total to 146/1 at the end of Day 2 at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday. At stumps of Day 2, India looked in a comfortable position with Vijay and Pujara batting at the crease at 70 and 47 runs, respectively.
