Caribbean bowlers destroy Indian top order on day one of third test match

Saint Lucia: The Indian cricket team failed to carry their form on day one of the third test match against West Indies and were five wickets down on the score of 234 runs.

R Ashwin and Riddhiman Saha were still on the crease with their individual score of 54 and 38 runs respectively.

Earlier, before tea, the Caribbean bowlers managed to damage the Indian top order on the score of 130 runs.

Indian opener Sikhar Dhawan once again to failed to perform and was caught out on an individual score of one run while skipper Virat Kohli was also caught out minutes after Sikhar reached the pavilion.

  • Rohit Sharma scored 10 runs for the team.
  • Ajinkya Rahane and K L Rahul gleaned 58 runs in their partnership for the Indian team.
  • Earlier, the West Indies team invited India to bat first after winning the toss.
