Fort Lauderdale: India lost the series by 0-1 to West Indies after wet outfield ends former chances to draw the series in the second Cricket T20 of the contest on Sunday at Central Broward Regional Park stadium in Florida of USA.

India was 15/0 with Rohit Sharma (10*) and Ajinkya Rahane (4*) on the crease when rain ruined the game.

Earlier, invited to bat first, Windies was all out posting 143 runs in 19.4 overs.

Opener Johnson Charles played a fine knock of 43 runs off 25 balls with five fours and two sixes.

Other Caribbean batsmen including Simmons (19), Fletcher (3), Pollard (13), Russell (13) and Bravo (3) failed to survive much in front of disciplined Indian bowling attack.

For India, Amit Mishra was the leading wicket-taker claiming three crucial wickets while Ashwin, Bumrah and Shami bagged 2 wickets each.
