India, Sri Lanka to play 3 Tests, 5 ODIs and 1 T20I

New Delhi: After the end of West Indies tour, Virat Kohli led Indian Cricket team will tour Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced the same on Friday.

In its tour of Sri Lanka, India will play three Tests, five ODIs and one T20I. The 43-day tour will start with a Test match in Galle from July 26.

The second two Tests will be played at the SSC in Colombo and Kandy respectively.

The first ODI, to be played on August 20, will be hosted by Dambulla. While, the next two ODIs will be played in Kandy.

The final two ODIs and one-off T20I will be played in Colombo at the R. Premadasa stadium.

Lastly, India and Sri Lanka battled in the Champions Trophy contest where latter thumped Men in Blue by seven wickets.

Before the Sri Lanka series, India is having one final task left in West Indies. Men in Blue will lock horns with Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine starrer West Indies team in Jamaica in one-off T20I.

1st Test: July 26-30, GICS, Galle

2nd Test: August 3-7, SSC, Colombo

3rd Test: August 12-16, PICS, Kandy

1st ODI: August 20, RDICS, Dambulla

2nd ODI: August 24, PICS, Kandy

3rd ODI: August 27, PICS, Kandy

4th ODI: August 31, RPICS, Colombo

5th ODI: September 3, RPICS, Colombo

One-off T20I: September 6, RPICS, Colombo
