Kolkata: Indian seamers summed up their dominance by bundling out New Zealand on 204 helping hosts to gain crucial First innings lead of 112 runs on third day of 2nd cricket test match being played at Eden Gardens ground here.

The New Zealand wrapped up its innings few minutes before lunch on Sunday. India was 12 for none at the Lunch in the second innings.

Resuming their innings from overnight score of 128 for 7, the visiting team had some resistance from 8th wicket pair of Watling (25) and Patel(47) during its 60-run partnership but it was over after Ashwin consumed Patel leaving Mohammad Shami to complete the formality of removing the tail. Incidentallly, Patel remained top scorer of the innings even as all top ranking players of the team failed.

With eight sessions in the match are still to go and a hefty lead at hand, India is sitting pretty in second test match of the series.
