India cruises into the final of Under 19 Cricket World Cup

Mirpur: Helped by fifties of Anmolpreet Singh and Sarfaraz Khan, his fourth in five matches,India U-19 team cruised into Finals of Junior Cricket world cup scoring a emphitic victory over Sri Lanka in the semifinal match played on Tuesday at Mirpur, Bangladesh.

Playing first India scored 267 for 9 in stipulated 50 overs and bundled out Lankans for 170 defeating them by 97 runs.

• It was straight win for young India being coached by Rahul Dravid.
• The cup was lifted by South Africa last year while India had won in 2012 and 2008.
• It will be the fifth final of India.
• They will winner of Bangladesh and West Indies match on Sunday.
• Anmolpreet Singh played a knock of 72 runs while Sarfaraz scored 59 runs.
