Harbhajan Singh upset over his exclusion from IPL 10 final

New Delhi: Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh on Wednesday said that he should have been a part in the Mumbai Indians' playing XI in the Indian Premier League final encounter against Rising Pune Supergiant.

Skipper Rohit Sharma had said that Bhajji was not placed in the playing XI because of tactics.

Terming his exclusion from MI's most crucial game frustrating, Turbanator said, "It is frustrating when you are sitting out and watching the game and it is something which is out of your control."

"Till last year, I was part of the management that used to pick the playing XI. But this time I needed to spend time with my family," he added.

Dismissing Mahela Jayawardene's logic of dropping him owing to more numbers of right-handers in Pune, Harbhajan said that he had claimed more wickets against right handers.

"I respect the management's decision. I won't cry about this. I am a team man. Mahela (Jayawardene) spoke to me about a lot of right-handers in the Pune team so they want to play a leg-spinner but as an offie most of my wickets in any formats have been right handers," Harbhajan said.
