Gautam Gambhir heaps praise on MS Dhoni, slams critics

Pune: Heaping praises on former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir said that one should not judge any player on the basis of one or two bad matches. He said that Dhoni is a quality player and has done a lot for Indian Cricket.

"In India, we have made a tendency of criticizing players after a failure in few matches. Everybody is aware about Mahi's contribution in the Indian Cricket and Indian Premiere League," said Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday.

Slamming those who are criticising MSD, Gauti said there is nothing like a finisher or a starter.

Kolkata Knight Riders will lock horns with Steven Smith led Rising Pune Supergiants in the IPL 10 match at Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium.

Calling it a big game, Gautam said KKR will continue to play aggressive Cricket.

It may be mentioned here that Kolkata Knight Riders has won five games out of its seven outings while Rising Pune Supergiants has made a tremendous comeback in the contest with three back-to-back wins. Pune has won four games out of seven played.
