New Delhi: Calling Virat Kohli a good friend, Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday said that he and former plays same brand of Cricket and are aggressive players. He said that both focus on giving their best to win a game for the team.

What Gautam Gambhir said?

  • Both of us (Gambhir and Kohli) are aggressive and passionate individuals. We always look to do well for the team.
  • It could be possible that there may be differences in our opinion but there is nothing wrong in it.

It may be recalled here that Gauti and Virat had a verbal spat during a Kolkata Night Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore match in Indian Premiere League 2013.

The left handed batsman also spoke on the Indo-Pak tension saying, “As an Indian and not as a cricketer, I believe we should not have any ties or relationship with Pakistan. For me it is very important to protect out people.”
