Mumbai: A highly entertaining charity Football match ‘Celebrity Classico’, which was a friendly clash of Cricket stars and Bollywood celebrities ended with a draw at the Mumbai Football Arena in Andheri Sports Complex on Saturday.

The celebrated game was organized to raise funds for drought-stricken people of Maharashtra.

Team ‘All Stars’, which was captained by Ranbir Kapoor had players like Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shoojit Sircar, Raj Kundra among others. While, Virat Kohli guided ‘All Hearts’ in the lights of MS Dhoni, R Ashwin, Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, among others.

The match ended with a draw with both sides hitting 2-2 goals respectively.

Abhishek Bachchan happy with the draw-

  • It was a draw and we're very happy because the last time we played we lost by one goal.
  • A draw is as good as a win and I am very proud of Ranbir and the entire team.
  • They played with all their hearts. We are very proud and honoured that we got the opportunity to play against the Indian cricket team.
  • We organized this to raise awareness and funds for drought victims. It doesn't matter who wins or loses.
